Julie Fisher

Founding Director, Center for School Safety Funding
Julie Fisher
Julie Fisher leads the NISSP Center for School Safety Funding, where she oversees national funding research, funding intelligence, educational resources, and initiatives designed to help schools and communities better understand and access funding for school safety.
Julie brings extensive experience in grant strategy, development, and management across K–12 education, public safety, local government, and nonprofit organizations. Her work has supported organizations pursuing federal and state funding for school safety, security, emergency preparedness, technology, and other mission-critical initiatives.
As Founding Director, Julie is building the Center's national school safety funding intelligence infrastructure and translating complex funding and policy information into practical resources that help school leaders identify opportunities, prepare earlier, and make informed funding decisions.
